“Tributo metálico a una era histórica”

Hace unas semanas supimos acerca de este proyecto que es llevado a cabo por bandas de todo el globo y, conformando un álbum quíntuple con casi cinco horas de música. Todo ello para rendir un gran homenaje a una de las videoconsolas más influyentes en la historia de los videojuegos, la Nintendo 64.
Prácticamente son todos los juegos de esa consola los protagonistas en este disco, siendo el “Legend of Zelda”, “Goldeneye” y las variadas e interminables sagas de “Super Mario”, el cual ha jugado a todo tipo de deportes y participado en carreras de lo más entretenidas.
El tema de este apodado Tribute Album 64, es, evidentemente, el Heavy Metal en todas las variaciones que podáis imaginar, eso sí, de forma instrumental, más que nada porque lo que aquí se representa no son más que las bandas sonoras de dichos videojuegos.
Pero, de entre todos los grupos que participan, ¿hay alguno que sea “made in Spain”? Por supuesto que sí, el cuarteto madrileño Fisherman’s Horizon se han sumado junto a su “Wow. Much Point. So Tennis. Advantage” del “Mario Tennis”, aportando un tema más, que se suma a su catálogo de versiones de videojuegos presentado en su debut del pasado año y que constantemente siguen ampliando para sus conciertos.
Por supuesto, el que tenga ganas de degustar este disco al completo de una tirada es porque no tiene otra cosa mejor que hacer en ese día. Nosotros hemos dedicado varios días y hablar de cada una de esas partes sería… aburrido, así que hasta aquí podemos contar. Disfrútenlo!.
