Un día como hoy nacieron vocalistas como Doogie White (Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Praying Mantis…), Warrel Dane (Nevermore, Sanctuary, D.E.P. 2017) y Amanda Somerville (Avantasia, Kiske-Somerville,Trillium); también se lanzaron discos como el “Ultraphobic” de Warrant y «Adventures of the Imagination», el segundo disco de estudio de Michael Schenker.
