«We are all excited about our Spanish Tour and as every band wishing for, is that lots of people will turn up to our shows and hopefully we get more fans after this tour» (Esa Englund).

Por Rockberto.

Prime Creation is a Swedish band that plays very powerful Power Metal and they will be touring Spain next week. The specific dates are the following and we encourage you to go see them if they come to your town/city:

20/11 – Portugalete – Estudios Groove.

21/11 – Zaragoza – Sala Utopía.

22/11 – Madrid – Sala Silikona.

23/11 – Granada – Sala Riff.

24/11 – Sevilla – Sala X.

The interview was with the band’s singer, Esa Englund and you can read it below:

First of all, please introduce the band so people can get to know you better.

Well, Henrik Weimedal on bass, Kim Arnell drums his brother Robin Arnell guitar then you have the second axeman Rami Tainamo and me Esa Englund vocals

The band has been active since 2015 and has already released three albums. How do you think the band has evolved over the years?

I think the songs and the band is more dynamic now and we have found our roles and how everything needs to be, to get this band moving forward

I’ve been listening to your album «Tell Freedom I Said Hello» and it sounds amazing. Where and with whom did you record it?

Thank you Roberto i’m very pleased that you enjoy the album!

The album is mostly done in our studio but the drums are recorded at Niels Nilsen studio. He has done the mixing and mastering as well

Niels is the keyboard player on mostly of In Flames live shows and he recorded Ghost’s first album, to mention some few things of Niels.

You will soon begin a tour in Spain. What do you expect from these shows in our country? Please use our media to share the dates in case someone sees it and can come and see you.

We are all excited about it and as every band wishing for, is that lots of people will turn up to our shows and hopefully we get more fans after this tour

Judging by the music you play, I imagine your shows are very energetic, but how would you define them?

As you mentioned very energic and we want the audience to be a part of the shows and hopefully some of them maybe already got the lyrics and sing along!

You play a very powerful power metal that is not devoid of timeless hard rock roots and more modern sounds. What are your own influences?

I find it hard to put a label on our music, it’s a mix of everything out there from past and up to date i think

To name a few influences In Flames, Masterplan, Evergrey, Nocturnal Rites

You have played at festivals with legendary bands such as Europe and Wasp. What positive and negative experiences have you gained from sharing stages with such giants?

It has only been  positive actually everyone has been superkind

It’s fun to see the major bands behind the scene and how it works before and after hitting the stage

What is the composition mechanics in the band?

Robin does the whole lot basically, writing songs, recording my vocals, guitars,  preproduction. Lyrics is mostly on Henriks table with some input from me and Robin. I did the lyrics on our debut album.

There is one question I always like to ask the bands I interview. If you were the owners of a big festival, besides your band, what bands would you like to participate? (It doesn’t matter if they are current bands or bands that don’t exist yet)

That’s a tricky one! This is my opinion and i think rest of the band are into completely different….

Okey, here it goes

Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, Blackfoot, (Original)Sweet, Zz Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn mixed with In Flames, Arch Enemy, Avatar  and why not Rammstein

Haha! Supercool!

You are Swedish and your country has a wealth of amazing bands. What do you think is the reason why so many good bands come out of there?

Actually i don’t have any clue, Sweden just has it simple as that!

Do you want to comment anything else?

We want the Spain tour to be awesome and you spanish rockers join up at our shows!!

Cheers!
